Born into the family of teachers and agriculturalist , at a hilly terrain, IDUKKI District of Kerala. She completed her secondary education at Idukki, and later moved to Thrissur, for her further studies and Teachers Training, to achieve her childhood dream of becoming a teacher.

She joined in MVMLP School Nedumpura in the year 1991, after her marriage with MR. REGHUTHAMAN ,who is a member of Padinjarkara family, of Ayurvedic Vaidyers and doctors. Her husbands grand father , Mr Munda Vaidyar was a Palace doctor to the king of cochin ,and for his memory and services to the society ,members of the family started an orphanage and a School at Nedumpura in the year 1957.

The contributions of Padinjarkara family to the society was grately recognized by the rulers of those days, before our nation getting independence. The rulers of those days, recognized the “NANMA”(grateness) of this family, and there was enough evidence for the same , likewise allotting a post office in PADINJARKARA HOUSE itself , and a Railway station, now vallathol nagar , and earlier cheruthuruthy, for the convenience of the people coming from different part of south india for treatments.

As a teacher, she is very hard working and her presence were always felt in every activities of the school . Under her guidance many activities were carried out in near by areas of Nedumpura and Shoranur likewise,
Maintaining a garden in school premises with many kinds of plants including a few rare varieties.

Distributing study materials and smart phones free of cost to the students from financially weaker sections.
Promoting the concept of home libraries, by personally visiting the homes of the students and issuing books in short intervals.

Conducting awareness classes to the students and parents in various subjects.
Well maintaining a beautiful garden in the premises of SHORANUR Railway station under her guidance with the help of teachers and students of MVMLP School.

She is very much interested in continuing the present efforts and fond of taking up appropriate future programmes for the betterment of the students as well as the society
