Dr. Minu M Mathen Graduated from Trivandrum Medical College in 1996. Did Post Graduation in Ophthalmology from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai in 2000. Worked at Aravind Eye hospital (in cataract department) till 2005 and has trained many trainees from India and abroad in cataract surgery (ECCE, SICS and Phaco). Has published several papers in peer reviewed journals & presented many papers and videos and was chief instructor and co instructor in state level, national and international conferences (ASCRS, ESCRS, APACRS, APAO, AIOS). Won Best paper, Best poster and best video awards ASCRS, APACRS, ESCRS and AAO meeting. Has received gold medal from Indian Intraocular Implant Society and APAO achievement award.
